Product design and engineering win the day
We had set off for the Forest of Gisburn on a clear afternoon. Venturing off the main roads we soon found ourselves driving uphill on packed ice and snow.
Without 4WD even slight inclines became near impassable so we parked up and unloaded the bikes. It was amazing that we could cycle on terrain that we could barely walk on and I found myself pondering the product design and engineering of my Marin. Full suspension kept both wheels firmly planted, hydraulic disc brakes providing immense stopping power.
Weight kept to a minimum with thin wall aluminium frame sections…and it all looks and feels great. Product design and engineering in perfect harmony!
